The short essay presents the preliminary reflections scaturite from the analysis of the archaeological contexts of the Buccinese necropolis in Braida and S. Stefano, through the’Examination of the grave goods of eighty burials, almost all unpublished and still under study, supplemented by the analysis of the topography, in an attempt to identify its spatial organization, the ritual adopted and the choice of materials deposited.

Cesare Vita is a researcher at the University of Rennes 2 France.
